Mark a task done

Tick off a task, undo it, start it, and reopen a task you finished by mistake.

When a job is finished, tick it off. It moves to the Completed page with your name and the time, so everyone knows it's done.

Tick a task off#

From the list:

  1. On the Tasks page, click the circle at the left of the task.

From inside the task:

  1. Click the task to open it.

  2. Click Mark done.

A message confirms "Moved to Completed." with an Undo button for a few seconds.

On the Board view, you can also drag the card into Done (last 2 weeks).

Undo it#

Clicked the wrong one? Click Undo in the message straight away. The task goes back on the board as it was.

Missed the message? Reopen the task from the Completed page (see below).

Show that you've started#

Starting a task moves it to the Doing column and adds a Doing label in the list, so others know someone's on it.

  1. Open the task.

  2. Click Start.

Or drag the card to Doing on the Board view.

Reopen a finished task#

  1. In the menu, click Completed.

  2. Make sure Tasks is selected at the top.

  3. Click the green tick next to the task.

The task goes back to the Tasks page. On the Board view you can also drag a card out of Done (last 2 weeks) into To do or Doing.

When a task won't tick off#

Two kinds of tasks can't be finished straight away:

Repeating tasks#

When you finish a repeating task, the next one is added for you, and the message tells you when it's due. See Repeating tasks.
