Change the language Plainstamp is shown in

Pick the language for Plainstamp's buttons, menus, pages and emails, on the sign-in page or in Settings.

Plainstamp's own words (buttons, menus, pages, emails and notifications) come in English, Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Arabic, French and Korean. You choose which one you see.

On the sign-in page#

At the bottom of the sign-in, sign-up and password reset pages there's a language menu. Pick your language and the page switches straight away.

This choice is remembered in this browser only.

Inside your workspace#

  1. In the menu on the left, click Settings, then the Language & translation tab.

  2. Under My language, pick a language in I read Plainstamp in.

It's saved straight away, and you see "Language set to …". The screens switch to that language, and so do the emails and notifications Plainstamp sends you about this workspace, and emails like password reset links.

Your language follows you: when you sign in on another phone or computer, Plainstamp switches to it there too.

Good to know#

  • It's set for each workspace. If you're in more than one workspace, set it in each one.

  • Other languages: the list in My language has more languages than the eight above. If you pick one of those, the screens stay in English, and tasks and comments people write are translated into your language when translation is on for the workspace. See Read tasks and comments in your own language.

  • Never chose one? If your phone or browser is set to one of the eight languages, Plainstamp uses it and saves it as your choice.

  • Your admin may have set it for you. Owners and admins can pick a language for other people under Your team's languages on the same tab. You can still change it yourself. Other owners and admins always choose their own.

  • Arabic is shown right to left.
